Laura I. Johansen has served as a member of our board of directors since our founding in 2008. Ms. Johansen served as our Vice Chairman until February 2012. In 2015, Ms. Johansen founded and currently serves as the President of Pence Management, a family office focused on real estate and equity investments. Ms. Johansen previously served as the President of Halbert & Associates, LLC (“Halbert & Associates”), the family office of Mr. Halbert, from 2004 to 2010. Ms. Johansen began her career at AdvancePCS as General Counsel in 1996 and served as the Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary from 2001 until its merger with CVS Caremark Corporation in 2004. Before joining AdvancePCS, Ms. Johansen served as an Associate in the Corporate and Securities Group of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer and Feld, an international law firm.

Ms. Johansen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas.
