Jon Mark Harmon joined Caris Life Sciences in September 2018 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Officer. He leads Caris’ efforts in data and technology enhancements and oversees multiple business units, including customer support, information technology and security, software engineering, bioinformatics, supply chain and clinical research operations.

Prior to joining Caris, Mr. Harmon was instrumental in building Phytel, Inc. into one of the leading Population Health companies in the United States. As head of the Implementation department for Phytel, Mr. Harmon led successful integrations into hundreds of EHR and practice management systems, and progressed to VP of Product Management before Phytel, Inc. was acquired by IBM Watson Health in 2015. Mr. Harmon held multiple advisory roles in assisting with the merger of Phytel, Explorys, and Curam into Watson Health’s foundational platform, before taking the role of Global Offering Leader to manage all aspects of Watson Health’s patient engagement business.

Mr. Harmon received his bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University.
