David A. Bryant, MD, serves as Chief of Pathology and Executive Medical Director at Caris Life Sciences, where he leads the organization’s pathology and genetics operations and supports the advancement of precision oncology through diagnostic excellence, quality, and innovation. Since joining Caris in 2011, Dr. Bryant has held a series of increasingly senior leadership roles in genitourinary and oncologic pathology, including Medical Director of Pathology and Senior Medical Director of Pathology, before assuming his current position. He brings more than 25 years of experience in surgical and oncologic pathology, including extensive physician leadership experience in both community and specialized pathology practice settings.
Dr. Bryant completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Cleveland Clinic and fellowships in Oncologic Pathology and Genitourinary Pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. A board-certified pathologist, published author, and principal investigator, he has contributed extensively to the advancement of cancer diagnostics and biomarker-driven precision medicine.
