Joseph E. Gilliam has served as a member of our board of directors since April 2021. Mr. Gilliam is currently the President and Chief Operating Officer at Glaukos Corporation, an ophthalmic medical device company, a position he has held since April 2022. From May 2017 to April 2022, Mr. Gilliam was Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, Corporate Development at Glaukos Corporation. Prior to Glaukos Corporation, Mr. Gilliam served as a Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking group at J.P. Morgan Securities LLC from 2013 to May 2017, where he led the initial public offering for Glaukos Corporation. From 2000 to 2013, Mr. Gilliam held positions of increasing responsibility at J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and its predecessor organizations, The Beacon Group and Chase Manhattan, with experience spanning mergers and acquisitions, primary and secondary public equity offerings, bank lending, bond offerings and other transactions. Mr. Gilliam started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as an Auditor.

Mr. Gilliam holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University.
